Ending one and starting on another 2.......

So I have finally finished the panorama from the last post, I think..... It has stirred up the thoughts for doing another 2 panoramas in Chevrolet and Chrysler. See what happens. Also added is the steelie I used for one side of the is image. There will be various colours available on these... Just got to get organised.

This is some of the stuff I have been doing in between other projects... Would like to push this further but see what happens

The lead sled is a work in progress, currently building a backdrop for it. But works both ways

New worx

 In between work projects, I have managed to create these. This first one is actually a panorama with the idea of playing "chicken" behind it.....This was inspired by watching old car films of the '50s. Fun and games.......

Cafe Racer

These next 2 are an example of where it all starts and where it finally finishes.....I go to car shows and with all the distractions, reflections and people around, it sometimes makes it a task to create a backdrop and then to cut out the image. No not lazy , just doesn't always work out to the original plan, so with the images that seem deemed useless, I come up with the image you see at the bottom.

CHARGE!

 Being a collector of diecast cars....Thought I would shoot this charger and see what I could do with it. I have an array of Kustoms, hot rods and muscle cars that have been shot and waiting to be shot. Can get the lighting right, no reflections..... No pain in the ass "ipad photographers" getting in your way when your'e at a show trying to add to the collection.... Well this is a start, tomorrow a car show, so will have to endure. Doing this gives me opportunity to shoot and keep sharpening skills, in the midst of shooting for others.

Plymouth finally finished......

I have finally finished the Plymouth image I posted previously... It ended up as 2 variations.

Although not a great difference, still can be interpreted into a couple of stories.

Works in Progress

These are a few works in progress. I have finished with hot rod coupe, with a few colour variations depending on my mood. Just put a sample up. Camaro and the  Plymouth, contemplating a background if any and also have another Chevy pick up truck that I'm twisting and turning......

Hot Rods and Helmets........

Over the past few weeks I have been trying to figure out how to do posters from images I have taken...... The minimalist thing is good in the correct environment but I needed something more. I was looking to create a wallpaper. Something I could have printed up to a couple of metres in height..... Well, I think I like this one. It will need test prints etc but it may just work. I have added some progress works, nothing spectacular, change of colour and stages. Also, decided to add a helmet poster I had done. Again something different. These posters are what they are and nothing more. It's keeping me active and separates me from the camera.

This is the end result.....

And the helmet...... There's something that I like about this one, don't know what or why.

Got a little carried away with variations..........

 I reshot a helmet that I had lying around today... Trying to keep shooting 'til the next project pops up. Anyway these are the results of that shooting experiment. There is another design but not sure if I like it or not.

The Mazda, was a car I shot a little while ago and had not done anything with., so it became an experiment

So here are a few more poster designs that I have done. A variation on the Porsche, 

just trial and error. As far the "Suzuka 80" is concerned well I hope it says what I think it says in Japanese...... Thought I would give that a try out as well.

As far as photography is concerned, finally picked up the camera again, to document a resto-mod of a small plane. Going to play around with those and see what happens from there. Also had the opportunity to do a few shots of a vintage DC3 aeroplane.... 

Going to make these available..... Once I become computer literate.....
