Over Saturated

A few images that I have plucked from here and there.... All of recent events, just trying to keep a variation of sorts going. Tried out a "panorama". Also a couple shots from the mischief makers shop.....

weekend bash

This beetle I shot a while ago just came up in my stack of files .....
Got to another show over the weekend, was a bit of mix up of cars and bikes which was different. Haven't had much time to process in between weeks so I decided to experiment with black n white or sepia.... Desaturation for those who want to be picky. Anyway, trying for a slightly vintage look......

Trying to figure out how to make some of these prints available in a limited run.....Watermarks are always removed and will be numbered....Any ideas?

city dwelling

This was shot from a hotel window, pouring rain nowhere to go. You can probably see the rain belting down in the contrasting areas. Sat there looking at this building for a while, then did various shots, felt this had the feel that I was after.Again trying to keep processing to a minimum.

When the rain did stop, was able to go out for a while and just shot random things that  caught my eye.The shot underneath, is a doorway of a vintage camera shop. The owner has old cameras in the window but always seems to be closed....I've been passed that many times never been open...

The green shot was done from the hip....Walking past who knows what and I just tilted my camera and pressed the button.

Beats me as to what this is.....Just liked it. It's hanging from a ceiling tucked away in some sort of arcade.

This last shot was referred to me by a mate who shot the same building but in a different way. I didn't want to shoot the same shot, was grateful in finding out where this actually was

Automotive Appeal

Over the past few weeks car shows have been a reprieve from the ongoings from everyday life. I have tried to keep these shots at a minimal processing from the original image as to improve my photographic abilities. A bit of black and white is a small effort in comparison to the Lamborghini, which has it's own story. I retouched this shot that's for sure but it is debatable as to who shot it. I was assisting and did some shooting of the car myself..... The mystery lies within there. The process in Lamborghini was laborious to say say the least. Then people ask as to why retouchers and photographers charge so much. People there is a lot more involved in doing a "shoot" rather than grabbing an SLR and pointing and shooting..... Anyway, that's a topic I would rather not talk about. I also attended my first "Japanese" modified car show on the weekend....They will be uploaded soon enough but it was cool to see something different.

This is the Lamborghini, I mentioned before. I did not receive the original file, it was sent to me "tinkered with". This is just a sample of what I did in about 4 hours of photoshop........ This thing was shot at a car wash and it was freezing that night.....

Wheels and tyres

Playing catch up with some of the places and shows I have been to. Next few weekends are going to be car shows of varying kinds...... May throw something else in the mix as well.

This bike is a rare Australian piece. Some may see it, although most will not.. Hint    check out the forks and the tank.......

A little reprieve.....

These are just a couple of shots that I did...Not as intense as the previous work.. Car shows are back on so may create a variation of imagery that I feel like doing rather than having to do....

Optional extras.......

These are a few more options that will be considered for the final series. Some of which will end up being double page panoramic images. it seems that there is a comfort in emptiness for some of the shots. Having shrunk them down for convenient of viewing.

From here on, tweaks and alterations will be done, other than that, I feel that the series is ready to come to a close. The first and third image are panoramas, just cut down.

Coming to a close

Over the past 6 months this series has been a representative of and about a psychopath. The combination of genres such as architecture, landscape as well as still life, some of which are metaphorical and others literal, are now coming together with the use of a model. Almost 150 images have been produced to completion in creating this series. It will now be culled down to a maximum of 30-40. There are a few more images to be processed as optional shots but all in al, it is coming to an end...... These are a sample of "psychopath" and the entity that lies within.
